The train, named after the famous Stone Chariot in Hampi in Karnataka, its each Coach has been named after the dynasties that ruled Karnataka - Kadamba, Hoysala, Rastrakota, Ganga, Chalukya, Bhahamani, Adhilshahi, Sangama, Shathavashna, Yudukula and Vijayanagar. The special features of the train are its beautifully furnished twin and double bed cabins with LCD TV, satellite channels, work desk, DVD Player, attached bath with luxurious fittings, two restaurants, The Louge Bar, Spa and Gym with two massage rooms and the hospitality of the crew on board.
