Day 01. Arrive Bangalore by International flight
Assistance and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 : Bangalore-Mysore drive, 130 km
Drive to Mysore visiting enroute Srirangapattna.
Srirangapattana, 12 km from Mysore known for its Fort . It is from here that Tippu charged at the British soldiers with his legendry sword. Within the Fort is Ranganathaswamy Temple, one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines in South India built in 9th century dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Daria Daulat Bagh, built in 1784, this Summer Palace was one of Tipu's favourite retreats. The Bagh is situated on the banks of Cauvery river has treasured the paintings, engraving, arms that depict the Valant victories and Struggles of Tipu Sultan. Museum showcases painting, pencil sketches, coins, medals made of bronze, copper and silver. Masjid-E-Ala or Jamia Masjid : The mosque situated near the Bangalore Gate of the fort built by Tippu Sultan has an inscription mentioning the ninety-nine names of Allah and another records the date of its construction by Tippu in 1787 A.D.

Day 03 : Mysore
Morning city sightseeing tour.
The imperial city was the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyars. It lies 770 m above sea level. The legend takes its name from a famous demon called Mahishasur, a great warrior who ruled as a tyrant until he was killed by the goddess Chamundeshwari. A temple dedicated to the goddess, believed to be 2000 years is perched on a hilltop. Nandi Bull, half day to the ill is a 4.8 meter monolith. Mysore is most famous for the imposing Royal Palace with a magnificent Durbar Hall, particularly splendid during the Dussehra Festival when the Maharaja’s jewellery studded gold throne (weighing 200 kgs) is on display and the entire palace is decorated with lights. Chamundeshwari temple perched on a hilltop is 2000 years old, Nandi Bull half way to the hill is a 4.8 metre monolith.
Afternoon visit Somnathpur Temple
Somnathpur, Built in 1268 AD is located 45 km from Mysore. The temple is best known for its Hoysala architecture. Seated on a star shaped base, set on a chiselled plinth and guarded at internals by miniature elephants. The temple wall depicts scenes from Ramayana, Mahabharta and Bhagvata, the three holy religious books of Hindus.
Day 04 : Mysore-Bandipur drive, 70 km
Morning drive to Bandipur, check-in at the Lodge.
Afternoon jeep safari.
The Bandipur National Park is one of the most fascinating wild-life centres. Established in 1931 by the Mysore Maharajas, this park is nestled in the foothills of the Nilgiris. Vegetation found in this park : Teak, rosewood, honne, mathi, bamboo and sandal. The trees sheltering them are even more beautiful.
This Park was chosen as a centre for the Project Tiger. The wildlife includes – Peafowl, patridges, quail, hornbill, giant squirrel, dhole (wild dog) elephants, sambar, barking deer… An endless variety of wildlife flourish here. And the trees sheltering them are even more beautiful. Teak, rosewood, honne, mathi, bamboo and sandal.
Day 05 : Bandipur- Nagerhole drive, 145 km
Morning drive to Nagerhole.
The Nagarhole National Park with its green world rich in forests, little streams undulating valleys and fascinating waterfalls, a perfect get-away for nature-lovers. Deriving its name from Kannada, ‘Naga’ meaning snake and ‘hole’ referring to streams - Nagarhole is truly a delightful spot, bubbling with the activity of some of the most magnificent animals and trees. Rosewood, teak, sandal, silver oak… are among the trees found here. The animals that are found here – Elephant, Tiger, Panther, Chital, Sambar, Sloth Bear, Jungle Fowl, Patridge, four horned antelope, warblers, spotted deer, mouse deer, pangolin, panther, gaur, giant flying squirrel…
The Park has about 250 species of birds and the Malabar trogan, the Malabar pied hornbill, the great black woodpecker, the Indian pitta and the green imperial pigeon are part of its avian variety.
Day 06 : Nagerhole
Jungle activities to view wildlife that include jeep safari, Coracle ride, nature walk, short elephant safari (subject to availability) and evening cultural/wildlife film show.
Overnight at the lodge.
Day 07 : Nagerhole-Bangalore drive, 250 km (to airport)
Breakfast at the Lodge.
Mid day drive to Bangalore and on arrival in Bangalore, transfer to airport in time for flight to onward destination.
