Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata
On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 : Kolkata
Full day sightseeing tour.
In 1690, Job Charnock, chief of the East India Company’s factory in Hooghly, looking for a new factory sites, selected and leased the three tiny villages from Emperor Aurangzeb. Six years later the company built the first Fort William and later, in 1773, rebuilt it in its present form.  Located on the west bank of the Hooghly River,  Howrah Station, almost a city in itself, can serve as an excellent introduction to the city of Calcutta.  Victoria Memorial, opened to the public in 1921, is a huge marble museum, a combination of classical European architecture and Mughal motifs.  The Indian Museum, founded in 1814 on the basis of the collection of the Asiatic Society, is one of the largest and most impressive museums in India. St Paul’s Cathedral built between 1839-1847, Kali Temple, The Marble Palace are few other interesting sites to visit.

Day 03 : Kolkata-Sunderbans
After breakfast, 2 hours drive thru countryside and rural bazaar with  tea/coffee stop en-route.  Mid-day, arrive at Gothkhali Jetty for embarking on cruiser. Refreshment will be  served on board.  Cruise through rivers Gomor, Durgadhwani to enter river Pitchkhali on banks of which lies Sunderban Tiger Camp, overlooking the Tiger Reserve.

Check-in, followed by lunch.
Afterwards, cruise through the creeks and canals, watch migratory birds and wildlife at sight till reaching Sajnekhali Watchtower and Mangrove interpretation centre.  Refreshments are served on board.

Return to the resort at sunset, followed by hi-tea with snacks.
Bon-fire and view Adibasi dance performance by local tribes.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 04 : Sunderbans
Morning wake-up call, hot tea is served in the room/balcony.
Board for cruise towards Dobanke Watch Tower heading to Sunderban Tiger Reserve Forset through creeks and dense forest.  Breakfast on board.
The canopy walk at Dobanke Watch Tower inside the forest, a thrilling experience of being in the dense forest.  Visit the spotted deer rehabilitation centre and later, cruise back through Matla – Sea face, with a view of Bay of Bengal.

Lunch at the Camp.
Afternoon walk through the native village of Dayapur to observe the lifestyle, local crafts, cuisines of local villagers settled here.  A walk thru the rugged mud houses to local market will end at the resort.  Refreshment will be served on arrival, followed by a movie on wildlife and dinner.

Day 05 : Sunderbans-Kolkata
Morning wake-up call, hot tea and relax and watch birds around the camp.
Cruise into the Sunderban Tiger Reserve once again through creeks and river heading to Sudhayakhali Watchtower.  Walk thru caged walkways, the secured area from any possible animal threat, to the watchtower. You may sight deer, water monitor lizard, monkeys, wild boars or elusive tiger near sweet water pond.

Breakfast is served on board.
Cruise back to Camp, refreshment is served on board.


Early lunch and cruise back to Jetty for 2 hours and onward by road back to Kolkata.
Transfer to airport for onward flight.
